holy crap this is the last pack in the series I’ve got around to actually using and man I was sleeping on gold this is the best expansion pack of any series.. I sure hope you’re planning more packs down the road!

Aw thanks, I'm so glad you like it! :)
I do plan to create more packs, but I haven't decided the theme yet

Sweet, I’m very excited to see whatever that ends up being. Prior to using this series I wouldn’t have necessarily considered this theme what I had envisioned for my projects but the aesthetic and practicality as well as adaptability of your work is, for me atleast, such a great fit it’s quickly become one of the handful of essentials comprising my core collection. That is to say, your work transcends the theme so I’m sure whatever you land on will be amazing!

That's great to hear, I'm glad it fits your needs so well! Feel free to follow me on twitter or instagram to receive news about what I'm working on. Cheers~

in case you’re open to ideas:

  • status and magical effects (poison bubble, metal impact sparks, fireball, iceball…)
  • dungeon tileset 2: dungeon harder
  • overworld tiles
  • 8x8px or smaller!
  • sideview tiles
  • 2-bit set (three colours per character/object or overall)

Nice, thanks for the suggestions :D

i want buy this and the other character packs if there is a bundle available further.

You can get all my packs as a bundle here: https://itch.io/s/95856/summer-sale-2023

Your tilesets and sprites are so cool and pretty!! I just bought them all in the bundle!! :D

I do have one question: you have the assets tagged with 'RPG Maker' but I can't find any spritesheets formatted for the rpgmaker engine, am I missing something?

Hi! Thanks, I'm glad you like them.
I have them tagged like that because I think they are the kind of assets someone could want to use in that engine, but I haven't used it myself so they are not already formatted for it. Sorry for the confusion! If you have some guidelines on how they should be in order to work there, I'd be glad to include it.

I wouldn't be able to explain how to arrange it myself since I don't do pixel art and my brain would just waffle a bit at the attempt lol. FlowPoly on youtube has a tutorial for making rpgmaker tilesets in aseprite, so maybe that will help? But I recommend looking at tilesets that are already set up for rpgmaker. They're separated into sections titled A1, A2, B, etc. Clockwork Raven has a great free tileset called Green Forest that is set up for rpgmaker, so you could go study that. or maybe even ask Clockwork Raven for advice?

I would definitely suggest adding a version of your tilesets that's formatted for rpgmaker if you're going to attach the tag for the engine to them, since most people who are buying tilesets for rpgmaker will want them to already be set up for use in the engine.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the info! I checked that video and Clockwork Raven's tileset and while I can easily adjust most of the stuff (trees, houses, objects, etc.), I'm really struggling with the ground tiles. I could just upscale them to 48x48px and place them individually, but I can't make them work in the autotile format (A2 section, I think) because they use a different layout than what I have, so I'd have to remake all of them, it's not just a matter of rearranging them, apparently. I'll see if I can work something out. I'll remove the RPGmaker tag for the time being and see if I can find a solution.

I'm Brazilian and I can't buy the complete pack

Is there any other way I can get it?

I accept payments through Paypal, Wise or Stripe at the moment

I'm going to make the payment through Wase, what do I need to make the payment?

Please send me an e-mail to franukai@gmail.com and I'll send you the details

This asset is incredible and really made the game alive.  I don’t know the roadmap, but interior assets, would be a great addition to your fantasy assets :)

Thanks! That is indeed my next objective. Not sure if I'll make many small interior sets, or just a big one with all the environments.

I would so love to buy most of your assets but they are 16x16 and I need 48x48 for RPG Maker MZ. I know it is somehow possible with photoshop or plugins but I would just love to have the "normal" version

Yes, pixel art assets can be scaled up as long as you keep the proportions intact. In Photoshop you should activate the "nearest neighbor" option when scaling them 300% (to reach 48x48), or you can use some other software like Aseprite.

I can scale them, but it takes some time, which is why I usually just provide 16x16 and 32x32 versions. I'll see if I have some spare time to add 48x48 versions to my packs these days.

Nice, instant buy!

Some suggestions: - Add higher hills (2x the high would be nice) with cave-like entrace. That would enable to use your dungeon pack.

Nice suggestion, thanks! I'll add it to my list

That would be great! I just purchased the whole bundle and already love it!
